Burberry’s badge, bangle, shoe, scarf and bracelet of honour
In America there’s a committee for everything including accessories. This year The Accessories Council of Excellence (can you imagine the shoes at their meetings?) honoured Burberry as Brand of the Year.
Creative directory Christopher Bailey was unable to accept the award, sending in his svelte stand-in Agyness Deyn. Deyn partied along with Daisy Lowe and Tom Guiness at the event at Cipriani on 42nd Street.
The ACE awards recognises designers and design houses who have made outstanding achievements in accessories design. Bailey, who joined the plaid-tastic company in May 2001, is responsible for the historic brand's overall image.
